Employed as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for Medtronic of Canada Ltd. in Mississauga, Ontario. He is the chairman of four Canadian Advisory Committees (CSA) on health care technology, vice chairman of CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Health Care Technology. Initiated and managed the formation of ISO 13485/88 standards as chairman of ISO/IEC JTAG1 (Steering Committee for international health care technology standards).
Presented/authored 78 papers, including two chapters on the Canadian Medical Devices Regulations.
